I am new here today. I follow Advaita Vedanta as best I can, by reading the Upanishads. I haven't found a personal form of Brahman yet, but I lean towards Vishnu. My name is Jack, I am a former Christian then Buddhist. I live in the Hudson Valley in New York State, USA. It is wonderful to be here.

Grateful if anyone would be interested in discussing Indian scientific achievements over the centuries, especially during the Bengal renaissance 1830 onwards. At the moment I am researching and writing about Acharya J C Bose, one of the several wonderful Indian scientists working at the turn of the 19th/20th centuries.
